Experience:

Teaching Philosophy:
Nursing is my passion, as a nurse educator I have the ability to impact the future of healthcare by providing education that supports evidence based practice in the classroom and at the bedside. In order for skills and concepts to be learned they need to be presented in formats addressing our diverse student population and various learning styles. My professional goal is to provide all students with a supportive learning environment that facilitates learning through a variety of clinical and lecture formats. The nursing profession commits us to a lifelong journey in education which occurs throughout our professional careers. Personal motivation and committment of each student is imperative to succeed throughout the nursing program. My goal as an instructor is to provide the support, professional knowledge and learning tools through diverse educational strategies. Along with teaching and learning with students to achieve classroom, clinical and NCLEX success. This will lead them to their goal of practicing as a novice professional registered nurse.
