I'm originally from Philadelphia, PA but moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1996.  I graduated from St Petersburg College in 2006 with my A.S. in Veterinary Technology.  In 2018 I received my B.A.S. in veterinary technology from SPC.  I have been an adjunct instructor for SPC since 2012.  I have worked many jobs in veterinary medicine but my most favorite have been zoo medicine, working for both local zoos (Busch Gardens and ZooTampa).  I curerently work full-time in academia, being an instructor for SPC as well as teaching 6th grade science full-time.  I've always had a passion for the "weird" animals and have kept many species of snakes, lizards, birds, fish, and even some mammals.  Aside from caring for my patients at work and my family at home, I enjoy playing saxophone, SCUBA diving, and traveling.
