Hi everyone, I'm Tara.
I lived in Florida for many years and taught both on campus and distance classes at SPC. I now live in New York and work in a diagnostic laboratory, a specialty hospital and teach at a university in Buffalo. I have experience in internal medicine, emergency, and management of a small animal practice. I received my M.Ed. degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida, and acquired my B.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. I'm a licensed veterinary technician and a certified pharmacy technician.
I have been teaching with the Veterinary Technology program at SPC since 2006 and continue to teach distance classes.
I enjoy teaching, interacting with students, and learning something new every day. I look forward to working with all of you as we learn from each other.
I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that are starting to enjoy the snow in New York.
