I came to St. Petersburg College in January of 1981 as a student teacher through an internship set up by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I returned to Florida in August of the same year as a full-time instructor in the Dental Hygiene Program. I believe I have a true passion for teaching and for dental hygiene.

I retired from SPC in January 2012.  I currently work full time as the Senior Director for Allied Dental Education for the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). I was excited to have the opportunity to return to teaching online. 

In addition to my professional life, I am a wife and mother of two adult children. I enjoy computers, reading and travel in my limited spare time!
