Valton E. Griffiths, Jr., is an Adjunct Professor with the College of Computer & Information Technology at St. Petersburg College.  He is originally from Kingston, Jamaica. He has previously worked with Fidelity National Information Services and Carlton Manor, Inc.  Professor Griffiths received his A.A. degree from St. Petersburg Junior College; B.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida; Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, and Master of Business Administration with an concentration in Health Care Management. 

Professor Griffiths is currently working towards his Ph.D. in Information Assurance.

He teaches CGS 1100 – Computer Applications.

Professor Griffiths’ research interests are in Information Assurance, Information Technology, and Health Care Management.

Valton resides in the St. Petersburg area with his family.  In his free time he engages in traveling and personal fitness.
