Hello, my name is Fred Tucker and I am a Career and Academic Advisor on the Clearwater Campus. I am originally from Des Moines, Iowa and spent a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy before moving to the Tampa Bay area in 2011. I first started with St. Petersburg College in June 2015 in the Workforce Education department.  I began my curent role in May 2019.

I completed my Associate in Arts degree from St. Leo University in 2010 and my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University in 2013.  Most recently, I completed my Master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from the University of South Florida in May 2022.

I advise students in the following Academic Communities:

• Engineering, Manufacturing, and Building Arts (EMBA)

In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, bicycling on the local trails, and watching college football. I look forward to assisting you in pursuing your goals.
