Michele Rollins

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL and began my journey at St. Petersburg Junior College in 1998 as a student and work study employee in the Admission's and Registration Department at the St. Petersburg Gibbs Campus. I left SPC in 2004 to pursue a teaching career and taught for seventeen years as a fourth and fifth grade teacher in Pinellas and Manatee Counties. During that time, I also worked for the Florida Department of Education/FSU Lastinger Institute developing curriculum for the elementary Civics/Government state standards.
I found my way back to SPC in 2024 when I began working in the Admissions and Records department at EpiServices as an Academic Records Specialist and test proctor.
My educational experiences include a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida, and an Associate of Arts degree from St. Petersburg College. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Post-Secondary Education Leadership and Management.
When I am not working or studying, I love taking walks through St. Petersburg's beautiful neighborhoods and parks. I also love exploring new food adventures, visiting new restaurants, food trucks, and new-to-me local restaurants and cultural dishes.
