Hello! I'm Melissa, a new Career & Academic Advisor at the Tarpon Springs campus. Previously, I was an advisor at Winona State University in my hometown of Winona, Minnesota, where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Counselor Education. I also have a background in career counseling, change management, instructional design, and as a small business owner. In advising, I have a variety of experiences to pull from, so I'm here to help you figure out what you want to do or get you where you want to go.

Outside of advising, you’ll find me indulging in some kayaking, plotting my next travel adventure, finding my zen in yoga, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying time with my family -- game nights are the best!
