Ciao!

My name is Lauren LaMantia, and I enthusiastically serve as a Career and Academic Advisor at the Tarpon Springs campus. I was thrilled to land here at SPC, especially since my grandfather was born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1915.

I was born and raised in NJ and relocated with my family to the Sunshine State in 2024. My 25 years in education have taken me from NJ to NC to FL and I have enjoyed students and clients from 18 months old to 78 years young! My education includes a Master of Education in Higher Education with a focus on Student Development and Affairs, a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Child Studies with a concentration in Family Services, and I am also a CPRW, Certified Professional Resume Writer.

The philosophy I have followed was created by my name L.A.U.R.E.N. - Listen, Assess, and Understand while Respecting Every Need.

Outside of work, I love finding new beaches, I am a huge Law and Order: SVU fan, thoroughly enjoy shopping and fashion, and sipping on iced matcha lattes and iced coffee.
