Key Position Information:

The Florida TRADE Consortium is a team of 12 colleges located throughout the state of Florida. The team received a Department of Labor grant to develop and deliver accelerated technical training programs that lead to national industry certifications and jobs in advanced manufacturing. SPC is the lead college in the Consortium. This position would be a part of the Project Administrative team housed at the Clearwater Campus.

Responsibilities include supporting Consortium staff and faculty in instructional design, virtual campus and computing services through providing training and instruction; researching data and information; and making recommendations for upgrades in hardware, software, equipment, and current technology in the field.

5. Ability to work without constant direction and supervision.

Works under the Consortium Project Director in enhancing a distance learning program in a team environment to advance the development of technology-enhanced curriculum, courses and instructional programs.

This is a grant funded position. Position will be funded for approximately 21 months.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field to assigned area. Master’s degree preferred.

Three (3) years experience implementing and utilizing instructional technology.

* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may be acceptable in lieu of those requirements listed above.
