St. Petersburg College (SPC) is a multi-campus institution that is committed to helping students finish what they start to achieve their goals. Our Provosts are accountable for essential aspects of Campus operations. They provide leadership to assure that our students experience a positive learning environment with timely staff engagement and quality support services. SPC Provosts further ensure collaboration and cooperation among campuses and key participation in community affairs.

The Allstate Center is a specialty campus that offers certificate, degree and professional development programs with an emphasis on law enforcement and fire science. The Center offers training programs and Federal/State grants and cooperative agreements.

Competitive candidates should possess:
1. Expertise in facilitating quality training academies, Federal/State Grant initiatives and Cooperative Agreements related to the law enforcement sector.
2. Familiarization of the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training.
3. At least five years of administrative experience in Public Safety agency or academic institution.
4. Higher education leadership experience in student success and support initiatives.

Department/Location: Provost Office / Allstate Center
Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in a related field to assigned area. Doctorate degree preferred.

Seven (7) years of management experience in assigned area.  Some positions may require higher level of education.
