Welcome to Applied Ethics.  I have added some very interesting issues for the class to discuss.  You wilI be dividing up into small groups to discuss these issues and talk to other students in the class to see what their views are.  I teach this class using case studies that apply to situations we see each day.  By analyzing these situations, students learn to use critcal thinking skills and you will see everyday situations differently.  Prior students say that they approach ethical situations positively because they feel confident that they can make good decisions.  Come join others that have signed up for the class.

My background is in law enforcement and business.  I have worked at St Petersburg College for 10 years.  Prior to that,  I worked within the St. Petersburg Police Department for 24 years as the Budget Manager.

I have taught Budgeting and Accounting at National-Louis University in Tampa.

I enjoy travelling and reading mystery novels.  I love animals of all kinds and currently have a dog and 3 cats.
