My M.S. is from Indiana University. I moved to Florida in 1985 and worked at the Deaf Service Center in Pinellas County. Since that time I have been working as a free-lance interpreter in the area. I also teach American Sign Language full-time at Pinellas Park High School. I have homeschooled my 4 children. I love to learn and I love to teach. Life is a process of continually learning new things.I strive to create a safe environment for learning. Acquiring a new language can seem daunting.  I hope that I will make it less stressful and fun at the same time.  A strong college education can be the foundation on which all future learning will be built.
