TJ Glowacki, M.M. is a performer, educator, and producer/audio engineer. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he studied bass with Dee Moses and Mark Neuenschwander. A member of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, TJ has also performed with the Florida Orchestra, The Jacksonville Symphony, Opera Tampa, Opera Naples, and The Prague International Chamber Orchestra. TJ has toured with several national Broadway shows throughout Florida including Thoroughly Modern Millie, My Fair Lady, Annie, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Grease, Wicked, White Christmas, West Side Story, Mary Poppins, Anything Goes, Wicked, and A Chorus Line. He has also backed such acts as Joan Rivers, Shirley Jones, Robert Goulet, Michael W. Smith, Marie Osmond, Don Rickles, Martin Short, The Music of Led Zeppelin, The Legends of Doo Wop, The Irish Tenors, Andrea Bocelli, Alan Parsons, The Who, and Barry Manilow. In the Tampa area TJ has played and recorded with some of the top jazz, rock and pop performers, many of them earning Best of the Bay recognition. He can be heard on recordings by Shim, Denise Moore and Then Some, Earth Bombs Mars, Ben Mercadante, Lee Bryant, Belinda Womack, Eugene Chadbourne, USF Percussion Ensemble, Tiny Tim, and others. He currently performs with his jazz trio Thick as Thieves, singer songwriter Rich Whiteley and freelances. As the owner of Glowacki Productions he has produced and recorded numerous CDs for bands and solo musicians in his recording studio. In addition to St. Petersburg College, TJ teaches at The Patel Conservatory, and Hillsborough Community College.
