Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 9

Some features will not work correctly in Windows Internet Explorer 9. If you are using Internet Explorer 9 and experience issues using the Course Mail or Discussion Forum features, placing IE9 into "Compatibility View" corrects these issues. In order to always use compatibility view, go through these following steps:

Step 1: First, press the "Alt" key on your computer's keyboard. The "Alt" key is located on either side of your space bar. A toolbar should appear toward the top of your screen with several menus, "File Edit View ...". Review the image below and select "Tools". From this menu, select "Compatibility View Settings".

Step 2: should already appear in the "Add this website:" field. If not, type in the following:
Then, click the "Add" button.

Step 3: Make sure shows up in the "Websites you've added to Compatibility View:" box. Then, click "Close".

Tip!: If you're not sure whether your browser is set to "Compatility View", you can always check in your address bar. When you're on a site which you've set compatibity view, the torn piece of paper in the address bar will be blue. See the image below for an example.
